Well, it sounds like you are buying into the idea that every guy you date is THE ONE. Don't hold back in relationships, but definetely be careful still. Pay attention to the guy because I bet during that time you thought he'd make all your dreams come true there were tons of signs showing that he wasn't for real.

What you're talking about are guys that are all about the so called fun and games of life. They're just looking for the easy way to get what they want from you and then leave. I will tell you this, there are some truly nice guys out there. Thing is that they're few and far in between. What I would advise you to do is keep an open mind and really take the time to know a guy. Forget about all the trappings they use to court you, but really get to know what a guy is about, what he wants in life, his goals, his dreams, everything. See past the roses and gifts and look at his heart. It sounds corny I know, but truth can only be found in two places, a person's heart and a person's eyes. Try looking into both time to time.

For the same reason that when you meet a woman, she acts like your dream girl come true, but in the long run she isn't.

I hate to break this to you...but I have dated A LOT of guys. They are all like this. They just try to put their best foot forward to impress you and make you fall for them. After the "honeymoon of meeting" wears off there is real life. If he is still passionate about you and life then he might be a keeper. Just give it a little more time to really get to know eachother. Good luck !

Sometimes we give our potential mates too much information about our personal lives with other guys and they play off of that until they get you to fall for them then they shed their sheep over wolf clothing.
Say you meet a guy and you tell him, I dump my last boyfriend because he's a cheater and the new guy say I don't cheat and later after you fall for him he becomes a bigger cheater than the one you just dumped.
Guys sometimes play off of your weakness and once they get your heart they start revealing the true them.
Remember you can catch more bees with honey. So of course you play like the man of her dreams until you get her and then you turn to be a nightmare.

Men play games ... so do women.
The best gf I ever had came to my house, used my bathroom and proceeded to break wind and do #2 in the loudest, most disgusting way you can imagine. I asked her to be a little more demur and she said "I want you to know what I'm really like ... if you cannot love me the way I really am then I want to know it now".

You're on the natural high of meeting someone new. Learning about this is fun and exciting. As you learn more and more, you're bound to find stuff you don't like.

They sometimes are trying to put on a good first impression and forgetting that they are happiest when being their self. If they can't impress you with being their self then they don't need to be with you nor you with them
