just take care of it. u cutting your hair when you were younger isnt what stunted your growth. your probably not taking care of your hair the right way. if your wearing extensions. stay away from it. trim your hair every 6 to 8 weeks or if needed otherwise. wrap your hair then put a satin or silk scarf around it. dont lay on cotton pillows. your hair will dry out and begin to break really easily.

I found this article to be pretty helpful :- http://ellegirl.com/article/article.do?articleId=2723
Anyway, Ive read that sometimes people are not meantto have long hair but all I have to say is just be patient, drink lots of water, cut back on caffeine, eat lots of vitamin E and protein and dont go restrictive diets. All the vitamins and nutrients from your foods go to your body first and the leftovers go to your hair and nails (thats why most people who go on restrictive diets have really bad hair and nails just a heads up on that). Anyway, hope that helps. Im trying to grow my hair as well, just get lots of headbands, hairclips and barrettes to play around with at the mean time and youll be fine :)

Try braiding your hair and keeping it in braids for a while. Some ethnic hair types can be quite fragile and even everyday activities like combing and brushing can cause some breakage. Be gentle with your hair. Use a good quality wide toothed comb to remove any tangles. Use a good shampoo and conditioner for your hair type and keep the hair moisturized.
