have you actually ever dated a girl on the internet and not slept w/ anyone while you were togather????did you actually ever meet her or was it just a online thing????

I'm not sure I understand you correctly, but if I did, I'd have to say I haven't. I've heard of a lot of women who have boyfriends online. I hooked up with a girl once for a little while, but then she told me she couldn't see me anymore, because she had a boyfriend half way across the country who was planning on coming to visit her in a couple of years. She'd never met him in person, but she said she was in love with him & wanted to commit to him. Personally, I think she should have just been committed. So, if I'm talking to some girl on the internet, I'll be damned if I'm turning down a sure thing for something that might happen in the future.
I may be old-fashioned, but in my opinion, there's no such thing as dating a person on the internet. I feel like dating is when 2 people go out & do something together, like eat dinner, see a movie, go bowling, etc. Sitting at a keyboard & calling it a date is just strange to me, & having a boyfriend or girlfriend thousands of miles away who you have never touched, & risking a real, healthy, normal, loving relationship on something that most likely will never come to pass is even stranger.
So, if I am talking to a girl on the internet & haven't met her, we aren't dating in my opinion. The internet may be a good way to get to know someone & set up dates, but should not be a substitute for dating. That's like viewing sitting at home in front of your computer masturbating to a girl's webcam as a substitute for sex. I need more than typing from a girlfriend.
I hope I understood your question correctly. I make a concerted effort to answer people's questions, but sometimes it's easy to misunderstand the typed word. Anyway, that's my mindset on the subject. I'll be interested to read some other people's thoughts, & hope you'll add your own views as additional comments.

sometimes u need um , u want the feel of being with um
and if u dont get that soon frm the person u met well its over with then
and its after the meeting the real person u acually think abt the real commitment and sacrificing stuff

Sorry, never dated a girl on the internet. I know some people have had luck with it - but really, meeting in person is a much better way to initiate a relationship.

Yes.....currently I am, and have been dating over the internet for a few months now, and get complete satisfaction by using my webcam with her, so I never feel like straying away from her. She knows what I got....and I know what she's capable of, and soon, we're gonna get together...but I would never sleep with anyone while doing this with her. I want her and I to have that special moment together that we've been waiting for, and that means alot.

Yes I have. If I tell someone I'll go out with them I'm serious. I don't cheat on or offline. Yes I met her, her parents didn't like me. Said too much muscle...intimidating. They were just worried for their daughter so I understand though.
