If you were suffering would you want to end your life? Animals are put to sleep when they are suffering, do you agree with that?

i agree- i believe we all have a right to dignity, and people should be able to leave this world in a painless state and still have the ability to wish their loved ones goodbye.
There are some issues here- for example, we don't want people who are terminally ill or old to think that they have a duty to die because they are' a waste of space'- people need to be aware that they have the option to die gracefully, and the choice has to be that of the patients.

It all depends i guess i would say agree because if i ever got so ill or became a burden i would want to be put out of my misery but i don't know if i could help a loved one die. Everyone should have a choice and if a person is very ill and in sound mind there should be some process made legal for them to end their life.

I agree with it, but only if the sufferer asks for it, no one else should be deciding for them. Also, I think anyone who is in prison for any reason should have this opportunity. But, no I would not personally end my own life because of sufferring, I do not think, but it's hard to know for sure.

I agree. When we have an ill animal do we let it suffer? Well the same should apply to our nearest and dearest, ask yourself and them...... Would they like to live in pain and suffer due to the selfishness of others? I bet they'd say no everytime.

I think if you are suffering with an incurable illness you should have the right to be helped to end your life by the medical profession when you are ready and not loose all your dignity .

agree and disagree.my parents took theire lives because of emotional turmoil and others do it to end the pain on phisicall suffering.......im on the fence.not sure.

Yeah, I agree with it if you are suffering or have a debilitating terminal disease. I think every living creature has a right to die with dignity.

no! i am an animal lover i dont think no one should be put to sleep if they are suffering that is just wronge and humans should not be put to sleep ether cause that is like a murder

Sometimes it's the only proper option. The problem is that there is always the possiblity of the practice being exploited if it became legal.
