Dial *70 before you enter the number ur calling. Callers will hear a busy sound. You have to do it each time you want to disable call waiting. It's temporary

It could be #70, 70# or even *70 depending on the service provider.

call waiting could be deactivated from the service provider. *67 is to hide your number from outgoing calls
