If it is canned and stored properly I would give it 3 years. However, the "ick" factor makes me not want to eat it after one year. Folks, she's asking about "Home Canned" food that's in a jar, not the tin can stuff you buy at the store.

Most canned foods last for at least a year or 2. There should be expiration dates on them.

well in my family we dont waste food and i think some can food go bad in about 2 month cause its in a can and a can will get rusty
