Drinking a lot of water can ease a hangover, but for God's sake, you get to choose whether you drink or not. It is very possible you will feel sick the next day in addition to some very natural nervousness.

Get pounded on your first anniversary. Dance with your husband and tell each other ridiculous lies. Leave your sister-in-law home.

Yeah, you will just have to pee a whole lot. As long as you stay active, it shouldn't be a problem. Get a Party Van, and have it take you from place to place. Don't stay at any one bar for too long. Don't sit at a table or the bar, just go straight to the dance floor. Make your friends buy you the drinks (and bring them to you). This way, you can probably make it through the night with only drinking one or two beers at each place. Stay away from shots, unless they are the weak ones (like Hot Damn or Cactus Juice, there's a brand called DeKupers or something similar that makes liquor that's not too strong)

Have the bus take all of you to steak N Shake when you're done. The waitresses are used to dealing with drunks, and you'll feel better if you eat.
Also, try on of the hangover rememdies. I've never tried them, but they claim that if you take one before you go to bed, you won't have a hangover.

You only live once. Make sure the bachlerette party is a couple days before the wedding so you have time to recoup and enjoy the special day. I have never tried those pills but it may be worth a shot. Don't mix your alcohols. Stick to one family of drinks. If you do vomit, that is it, don't drink any more. Drink at least two glasses of water before bed. You will probably still end up with a hangover.. but oh well. Congrats on the wedding...

Sounds like she has a weird control problem..... anways, drinking water beforehand won't keep you from getting drunk.... but it will definately help to keep away a hangover- because you won't be dehydrated. Try drinking an 8 oz. glass of water after *every* alcoholic drink you have that night. It will slow down the speed at which you are drinking and cut the amount of alcohol you have in half........ you know, if your sister-in-law isn't holding you down and pouring shots down you're throat.

-try drinking mixed drinks, and make sure you're the one making them (if at home, and ordering/picking them up if at a bar/club) I don't know what your situation is, but someone who is determined to get you drunk, may think she just wants you to have fun and might add "another shot" or so to your drink. A friend has done that to me before.

-If there are any potted plants around, make use of them if you feel she is pushing them on you too fast.

-if you are "forced" into doing shots, make sure you have a beer chaser. Take in the shot, but don't swallow- just spit it into the beer bottle as you're acting like you were using it as a chaser. This has worked for me when everyone was drinking *way* too fast for me. I ended up doing less than half as many as everyone else, and between that and the water, I didn't feel so crappy the next day.

Oh yes, and take a serving of folic acid before you go to bed. Excess alcohol can cause a deficiency of folate. It's safe to take, so there's no harm in trying....... as I read an article about this, but can't seem to find the article, or the exact reason why folate helps to dampen hangovers....... but I've tried it and it worked for me.

Good luck!!!!

Make sure to eat something....food will absorb the alcolhol..and pace yourself(if u can)that way u won't puke....also if u don't want to puke, then don't mix too many different kinds of liquor...some of them could be bad..in fact are bad when mixed and might make u want to puke(make your stomach hurt,i had that happen drinking too many different kinds of pucker shots...don't mix those!!!)....I will say Have fun...ohhh and u should try a ******* shot, tequila shot and sex on the beach shot!!!there awesome....and have an ameretto sour(there awesome too)...go ahead and drink..u cna be drunk w/out puking if you stop when u start feeling funny or slow down a little...I've been pretty drunk quite a few times and i've Never puked yet....so just learn to pace yourself okay and make sure u eat something that will help absorb the alcohol(the less u eat before u go out the quicker they'll be able to get u drunk)so if u want to not get drunk too fast eat some pasta or something with bread is really good at absorbing the alcohol!!!Good luck and congrationlations on your up coming wedding!!!(oh and if its really hot on the day your going to be drinking make sure u do drink a lot of water,or u could dehydrate yourself..and that could make u sick)cause alcohol will dehydrate u..

If you don't want to throw up and feel like **** the next day , you just have to eat something before u start drinking and drink little during the whole night. If you start feeling bad STOP DRINKING for a while then you can keep drinking. But the most important is enjoy your party!!!

Drink lots of water all day before the big event, but more importantly eat a good meal before you go out. Pack in the protein and the carbs. They stay in your system longer, so they'll help keep the alcohol from absorbing really fast. Also, keep drinking water while you're drinking the good stuff. It'll help prevent dehydration, and will help the booze go through your system. And when you get home, before you go to bed, take 2 tylenol and chug a HUGE glass of water. You should wake up feeling fine!! Have fun!!!

If you don't like to drink and you're afraid of throwing up there is only one sure solution. Give yourself an enema with alcohol. It is the quickest and easist way to get drunk without the hassles. It goes directly into your bloodstream and not through your stomach (where the throwing up comes from). You will want to do this just before the party, because it will happen fast. And don't drive, have somebody drive you. You'll be drunk when you get there, so you can relax and drink slowly (to mantain) and classy without looking like an alcoholic.

I hope that your sister-in-law just wants you to loosen up a little and does not just want you to make a fool of yourself, in addition to throwing up and feeling bad the next day ... You already have some good advice. I once wanted to get drunk (or high) and went out beforehand and had a steak dinner. I spent alot of money that night trying to get high (shots & mixed drinks) but I left there sober and poorer.

It'll help but you need to keep drinking water throughout the night. However, in all likelihood, without any prolong period of drinking, you're going to get drunk. Drinking water will help with the hangover. Also, I forget what's its called but you can buy a pill at convenience stores and gas stations that will help with the it. I think its called a chaser.
