Am I falling too fast for her?

Question

Two nights ago this girl added me on myspace.......and it turned out we lived in the same city (small city) as eachother. We've talked 2 nights on AIM and that's it so far. Already I feel like she's the type of girl I'm looking for.....and have her interested in the hot tub to hang out and meet. She looks like she's 18/19, but she's only 15 like me. Not only does she look older......she's mature.......which is what I want in a girl.....she's learned the lessons of life because she's been through alooottaaa **** in her life so far (death in the family.....raped and beaten......etc....which is sad to hear). She said she's looking for a mature guy, and that she generally looks to older guys because guys her age are too immature....but I feel like I'm an exception.....everybody that knows me says i'm reallly mature for my age.......and she said I look like i'm 19 just like i thought she was. What would be too soon to ask her if she'd like to be more then friends? Plus she smokes....

but i'd be willing to overlook the fact she smokes......especially since she realizes it's a bad habit....and I can't really blame her with all the **** she's been through in life.

i think she told me all this because she doesn't care what other people think of her anymore......she's secure in herself....which is something else i like about her.

I don't think your falling to fast it's not really that your falling it's just a really strong sparke cause you both seem to want the same thing and you both are what the other is looking for... Wow It's really admazing that she told you all that stuff in just 2 days time that is really strange and personal...

Oh boy. Slow down, kiddo! You just met this girl online, not even in person yet, and she tells you about ALL this drama that's happened to her. I'm sorry it happened to her, but you have to wonder why she'd tell you all this after just meeting you. These are the kinds of things most of us don't speak of until we're sure we can trust another person with that info. Still, if you want to get to know this girl more, you need to give it some time. Talk some more online and on the phone and then arrange to meet somewhere that feels safe for both of you, particularly her with her background. Once you spend some time face to face, it will be easier for you to decipher your feelings for her.

You have a connection which is great. It's always such a great feeling when you meet someone who you just seem to click with. Go ahead and meet her in person and see how the two of you interact face to face. If it all goes well then things will naturally progress to more than friends. Just give it some time, you don't want to scare her off by jumping into things too fast.

Don't ask her out over AIM.

Meet her first and hang out at least twice.
People can put on pretty big fronts over the internet. It's more dificult to lie to someone's face.

Plus, people act different online than they might in person.

i don't think it is too quick, but still take it slow
