I'm a very determined 23 year old boy who wants to lose some weight. I'm not obese or anywhere near but I want to trim down my stomach. I have always been active but since an operation in april I have become lazy!! I'm more intersted in your thoughts on 'DIET' rather than excercise as I am currently doing weight training, circuit training, bike riding and playing squash!!

Please advise... only sensible answers please!!!

Have a very, very, very light supper, something like fruit. Even if you're hungrey the next morning, it's better to eat a lot for breakfast because you have all day to burn it. That's what I do and I'm skinny! no other secrets other than don't eat fried food, cut down on you know what, cakes, chocolate, fatty food, fast food, etc, eat more fruit. Good luck!

If you are getting enough exercise, you should be able to significantly impact your weight by adjusting what you eat, rather than how much. Try to stick with as much fresh fruits and vegetables as you can. Their high concentrations of water and fiber will help you stay full while eating fewer calories. I have found fresh grapefruit to be a particularly good appetite supressant, although you have to skip the sugar. Also good choices are lean meats and unsalted nuts. Whole grains are okay in moderation, but try as much as possible to avoid potatoes, refined flours and sugars.

A healthy diet is much easier to stick with in the long run than any fad diet, so with this type of plan you have the best chances of keeping the weight off in the future.

Also, with as much exercise as you are doing, make sure you consume enough calories so that your body does not go into starvation mode and try to hold on to any fat deposits you have.

Sounds like your definitely on the right track man, keep it up. Diet is all-important with fat loss. Fat loss is attained simply through a caloric deficit (calories in < calories out). Do some basic research on nutrition, learn about the different food groups, macro-nutrients and their place is your diet. A typical healthy diet is based around fruit and vegetables, wholegrain carbohydrates, fish and lean meat, low-fat dairy, and unsaturated fats from nuts and seeds. Spread your food intake throughout the day (6 meals), drink plenty of fluids. Cardio and weight training play an important role in weight loss as it helps to reach a caloric deficit. Be careful to not eat too little however, as this can hinder your weight loss just as much as eating too much. Around 1-2lb a week is a healthy weight loss.

Hi there, I've recently just finished reading a book on nutrition, well I skimmed through it...

What I think is true from what I read is:

Eat BREAKFAST like a KING,
Eat LUNCH like a PRINCE,
and eat DINNER like a PAUPER

Breakfast is themost important of the day, so eat the most as you have the rest of the day to burn it off.

Eat a reasonable amount and healthily for lunch as this keeps your energy up.

Dinner, as it is late in the day, and your metabolism will slow down, it is not necessary for your body to consume so many calories, so something simple and basic but healthy will do.

If you follow this, along with your exercise, I think yoou are on the right track.

Good luck :)

Relacore worked great for me, and my wife both. I immediately noticed results. My wife's results came a little later, but in less than 30 days. However, she started using Relacore shortly after giving birth.

Make sure you get the full strength, 90-count, 3 capsule a day formula. Some of our friends bought the cheaper (not really, do the math), 110-count, 6 a day bottles and didn't get the same results.

I'm an active boy as well i do rock clI'mbing, running, martial arts so im pretty health conscious. as far as dieting goes don't go over the top as long as you get your 5 fruit and veg a day, that will keep you in lean shape if your doing all the sports you are.

The best way u re gonna achieve this is by exersising yo stomach muscles, avoiding alcohol, any foods with bad fats which will deposit on yo belly since u re a man, snack on foods with essential fatty acids especially nuts so yo HDL/LDL is higher from right to left and avoid fast foods with bad fats.
Take yo time to eat so yo food is digested properly, don eat high carbs after 7pm, leave 3hrs btn yo evening meal to bedtime, so yo food is digested thoroughly ......etc
All the best.
