Have you been checked for 'dry eye'? I have this, and was told by the doctor that did my lasik surgery that the floaters that I see are dry/damaged area caused by the 'dry eye'. I am now on a prescription for it, and had the tear ducts in the bottom eyelids plugged in order to help retain the essential oils that I am lacking. It really seems to help.

I'm 53 and had developed eye floaters about 4 or 5 years ago. The doctors told me that they're harmless, but whoever has had them knows how annoying they are. They also said that I could have them "burned off" with laser surgery, but there was no way I was going to "burn" anything off my eyes! So I kind of accepted that my floaters were there to stay.

Then I came across this system, and seeing that you were offering a full money back guarantee, I figured I had nothing to lose well I was wrong - I did lose my floaters!! Oh my god I still can't believe my floaters are gone and my vision is as pristine as it was 5 years ago!

I have huge numbers of these - to the point where I've stood around swatting mosquitos that weren't there. I went to an opthomologist because it was getting so bad, but got a clean bill of health. You should do the same to rule out any major problems like retina detachement.

There is a doctor that uses a laser to selectively zap these things for people who can't stand it any longer. He cannot treat all cases, he is expensive, and it's not covered by most insurance.

No medicines exist to cure the problem.

I do. I have heard that the treatment for them is only prescribed when you literally can not see because of them. The only treatment I have heard of is draining the fluid from your eye, but that is not really a good idea. You just have to stop fixating on them. I have had mine since I was really young. I remember trying to look at them all the time, but now I don't really notice them. (Until you asked this question, ARRRGH!)

Not sure what you're talking about. But if you're talking about the little things you see floating around, when you look at the sky or something. Yes, I have them, but do not notice them unless I'm paying attention. I think everyone has them. I don't know if there is any treatment, but call your optomotrist (eye doctor) and ask.

i used to work with an ophthalmologist, and any time a patient said they had floaters, the doctor called them in right away. it could be a sign of something more serious, like a detached retina. if you have an advice line you can call, i would call.

Yes, I have them. They do annoy me, but I cannot afford to go to the eye doc. You could go to the eye doc, but they might not be able to help you. Eye floaters are just something that you (not the doc) might be able to see.

Have them, completely normal, no treatment available. The brain eventually filters them out and they become less noticeable in time.
