I always go for the bad boy. I could have two guys sitting in front of me, one promising me the american dream and the other promising heartache, and inevitably i go for the bad boy. Why?

Most guys ask the same question. The answer for most women is that the 'safe' guy is, well safe. You don't see the possibilities for excitement and adventure with Jeff. But you see that Nick has a tattoo or rides a motorcycle and think, "Now he's dangerous." Irrespective of the fact that he beat up his last girlfriend.
Most young women squander much of their youth chasing the bad boys, and eventually marrying a safe guy. But guys do the same chasing the hot, unattainable girls when the girl down the street is a better match for them. It's called growing up.
My uncle used to say this to me all the time as a teenager, "You'll spend most of your youth shopping for Ferraris, and you'll even drive a few. But they suck up all of your money, time and energy. You'd be better off buying a nice sedan. You'll get better mileage and you'll know that every bump won't mean more mechanic bills." Typical guy metaphor, but I think you know what he means.

Many girls go for the bad boys...is something in our instinct that makes us choose the bad boy. Bad boys are seen like powerful and this thing offers a girl the safety that she needs. Well i must admit that the looks has something to do with this, but thank for choosing the bad boys to our ancestors...In time you'll be more selective and you'll choose the good guys...they are sweet and really make you happy...

I used to be that way, too, but I got tired of being hurt. Now I go for the sweet, average-looking guy with a big heart. Believe it or not, they are just as much fun as the "bad boys", but much more reliable and honest.

I am the same way. I believe it has little to do with the bad boy, it has alot to do withourselves. It would seem very exciting to see the bad side in ourselves through another person. That person tucked inside of all of us is dying to get out and opposites attract!

Most women like the bad boy because they appear stronger than good guys. Back when we were living in caves, this was an advantage. Stronger men means better protection.

becuase girls like you think its cool to have a bad boy, then get upset when he treats you like dirt. You'll eventually grow up.
