In these days we see so many divorces so is,how many ribs does a man have?

Every time a man is divorced, he loses another rib. This may explain why some old men can't stand up straight.

OR humanity discovered that men have one less rib than women and explained this by mythologizing that woman was made from a man's rib...
and I'm a Christian, but we don't all take the A&E story quite so literally.....

Yes, actually a woman is to be a man's partner. She is man's rib. Unfortunately, some men put their women in their mouths just like barbecue, not as their own ribs.

the FIRST woman (Eve) was made out of the FIRST man (Adam)'s rib. after that, sexual reproduction took over, and they had both female and male kids through birth; those kids had kids, and so on. so really, nowadays women aren't made of men's ribs...so you won't have to worry about a multiple-divorced guy's chest collapsing lol.

If the woman and the man who are made for each other are together under the proper direction (of God of course) then they can fight it out... today's society screws up marriage... God ordained it and it should stay that way...

I think that is a symbolism or figure of speach stating that man and woman are to be together.
