It's tradition to have a bachlor party before marriage, but in most bachlor/bachlorette parties people fall to sins of the flesh, wether is actual fornication or lust over someone's body. To me it seems very hypocritical to do this and then stand in church in front of god and promise that the person next to you will be the only one for you.

Exactly! But I think the rationale behind a bachelor's party is having one last affair before you "get committed". This tradition originated in the West... American I think, a country with a very loose morale (or none at all) when it comes to pre-marital sex, or the topic of sex per se. But now it is being accepted in more conservative countries.

The kind of bachelor/bachelorette party at which a scantily clad woman/man pops out of a cake might not be your kind of thing, or mine, but I wouldn't call it hypocritical. It's symbolic of the soon-to-be-married's "last day of freedom" before "taking the plunge." It's a way of saying good-bye to the single life.

Church is for sinners and hypocrisy is a sin. Is there any better place for hypocrits than in church?

It doesn't have to be a sinful party. The movies portray them as orgies but I doubt if that happens in reality.

That might happen in the world, but at my church we do other things. Tea parties, dress ups etc. No naked guys anywhere. No guys at all!!!

My husband had a toga party with the guys and they had sporting events and roasted him. He said it was a lot of fun.

It is just a tradition and it depends only on you what to do there. to call some girls to "amuse" you or just to enjoy your time while chattering with your friends!
