you already asked this question. he is just scared and unsure of the leash! its something he has never seen before. MOST pups are like this, you must TRAIN them to walk on a leash...its not a quick fix. even adult dogs that have never seen a leash before do what your dog is doing...and its not just a Rottweiler thing.

That is normal for all dog they want to be free and just run as long as they can. The best thing to do is to find either a closed in area and let the puppy of the leash or start train him to come to you. I hope that answer it for you. And have a lot of fun with your puppy.

Yes, ours did the same thing as a pup, she just needs some getting used to the outdoors and being on a leash, do you have her on a collar or harness, a collar is easier no doubt, but a harness causes les pain of pulling around the neck area and they are easier to train on a harness.

Leash training takes time and patience. Get yourself a book on dog training from the library and follow the directions for leash training.

they are extremely stubborn and this dog is trying to establish just who is boss. the one problem with a rottweiler is being smarter than them and establishing who is the leader. i highly recommend obedience classes and if anything, do not stop socializing that dog for the first 2 years of life. if you do, you'll never be able to go anywhere with him.

LET HIM DRAG THE LEASH AROUND IN THE HOUSE FOR A WHILE(NOT PLAY WITH IT)

*HE WILL GET USED TO THE PULL ON HIS COLLAR*

YOU MUST LEASH TRAIN HIM.....TAKE HIM TO A BEGINERS OBEDIENCE CLASS THEY ARE USUALLY CHEAP AND IT IS WORTH IT FOR A BIG DOG!!!

ROTTIS MATURE VERY SLOWLY

We have 3 Rottie/shepherd mixes !!! :)
My oldest was the same way. You MUST walk your puppy everyday. It will take awhile, but she will give in, once she realizes that she has no other choice but to listen to you.
