The doctor just switched me to the "Nuva ring" after a long mis-hap with Ortho-Lo. Does anyone have any stories about it. Good or bad comments? Does it work for you? Did you hate it? Do you love it? Is it more effective? What about weight gain? Did your face/acne clear up or get worse? I did research on the internet along with speaking with my doctor. But I am looking for real stories for other people around the world. Please help me thank you.

My wife used it for about a year and a half and she was pleased. It was a lot easier than the pill and while I could feel it inside her, well we were having sex...do you think I cared?

I LOVE the Nuva Ring. I'd be back on it if I weren't breastfeeding. It's the most wonderful birth control. I didn't notice any side effects or any changes in weight. It's so easy to use, I didn't have to take a pill everyday, and it stayed in place the whole time, and I could never feel it.

I love the Nuva Ring. I've been on it about 9 months and no issues (tried because bc pills suddenly after years caused huge hormonal/emotional/physical changes even after trying other brands). It really works for both my husband and I. No issues whatsoever. Sometimes he feels it, but it never interferes, apparently. I love not having to take a pill every day.

I recommend it for simplicity and ease. I never take it out during the month, it never slips around or slips out and I never feel it (except occasionally during sex). I don't think it really can go into a "wrong" position. And, of course, definitely not pregnant.

For us it really really works.

I loved the ring. It was easy, I didn't have to worry about it everyday, and I couldn't feel it at all (although my husband said he could feel it). It didn't cause any weight gain, and I didn't notice a difference with acne. It really is a great form of birth control in my opinion. I think you'll like it better than any other form.

My wife used it for a few months. She didn't like it because it seemed to cause a mild case of vaginosis and a very slight discharge. As soon as she quit using it, all that stopped. She was also a litte weirded out about having something in there for that long, but that was just a mental issue.
