I have a nuetered Blue Point Siames male and he urinates on my bed, and on clothes left on the floor. He also hunches my spayed black female barn cat. I turned him over the last time I caught him and he was aroused. If he is nuetered shouldn't he not be arroused? And why is he urinating on my bed and other things found laying on the floor? I was told siamese are very particular and don"t like things out of place and will urinate on them, i.e. the clothes on the floor. Both cats were fixed at 6 months of age and them male never learned to spray. Anyone got any ideas?

He only urinates on my bed and in my sons room on blankets or clothes found on the floor. The litter box is scooped daily and I use fresh litter frequently. He uses the litter box as well as urinating on my bed and clothes.

My male cat who is also neutered all of a sudden started urinating on stuff on the floor. He was also going #2 on the floor all around his litter box. I had bought a different brand of litter. And, by the time I realized that this might be the problem, I forgot what litter I was using. Well, thankfully I figured it out and he no longer does anything, anywhere except in his box. Also, make sure you keep it real clean. I like the scoopable, so easy. So, if you have changed litter brands, it might be worth a try to go back to the old litter. These cats are sure set in their ways. It worked for me. And like everyone is saying, watch for that urinary tract infection, landed my poor cat in the hospital for 2 nights. My cat was so sick it was very obvious that something was wrong and he wasn't just being stubborn.

1. His litter box is not very clean
2. He has a urinary tract infection or bladder crystals. This can be fatal for males, because they might block. Get a sample of urine in a disinfected cup, by putting it under his tail when he urinates, and get it tested. If he has bacteria, he needs antibiotics. If he has crystals or PH higher than 6,5-7, he needs special food. All firms make food for neutered males, which makes urine more acidic, in order to avoid the problem. Consult your vet.
3. The arousing issue is normal. The fact that he cannot reproduce does not mean he can't have sex. If he does, even better, let them enjoy it. It is also possible that he has an internal gland (crypsorchia) that wasn't removed

i agree iwth the litter box needing to be very clean. of my 3 neutered cats the dominant male will pee on any material that hits the floor (towel, tshirt) when the box is getting to smell. it seems like he prefers to not use it when the other cats have used it a lot. but it really could be a unrinary problem too, as peeing in the tub, or on soft material is a way male cats act when they are irritated in their bladder. go to vet first, then if all is ok, get a different type litter box that cleans better.

I would take him to the vet, and soon. It may not be what you think.
Male cats often get urinary tract blockages (Feline Urinary Syndrome or FUS). This is caused by crystals building up in the urinary tract and preventing them from peeing when they need to pee.
What happens then is that the urge to pee builds up so much that the cat relieves itself where and when it can.
This can be VERY dangerous for male cats, and can be very costly if not checked quickly. Surgery is required if there is a full blockage... and if it's not treated, the bladder can rupture, and result in a VERY painful death.
Call your vet first...

well, make your bed and pick up your clothes and take your cat into the vet, he could be telling you he has a urinary tract infection. oh yea, I'm sure it is but make sure the litterboxes are clean. as far as the arrousal thing, talk to your vet about it.

My cat Milo started doing this...he would pee in the laundry basket, on my bed, poop on the old couch in the basement...and then I figured out what he was trying to tell me. I had litterpans in the upstairs bedroom, he wanted me to put some downstairs for him! I put two litterpans in the bathroom/laundryroom on the first floor, and he stopped his objectionable elimination.

Sounds like your cat is 1. marking its territory, 2. is upset about something, or 3. wasn't neutered properly. I suggest you take it to the vet for advice on how to deal with it.
