when the answer you like best has been here for 24 hours, you come back onto yahoo answers, find the answer you liked best again, and in the section where the question is, you click, choose as best answer. Wha-Lah, you're done!

just below and to the right of my answer as you see it is a box that says "Choose As Best Answer". Click it, and i get 10 points, and you get 3 :)

Well, you carefully weigh every word of every sentence uttered by each answerer against what you know to be true as well as any information you've gleaned on the subject through your intensive research...
then you pick your friend's silly answer as the best!

If you get a correct answer and it works for you, VOTE for it.
If you get lots of answers, but you just like one better, VOTE for it.
If non of the answers are any good to you, but one is funny that you like, VOTE for it.
But if you don't vote, then your question goes to VOTING. At that point, some smart-alec that posted a BOGUS or obscene or hurtful sort of message will VOTE for his or her own. That means that they can get the TEN POINTS on your hurt feelings.
