They don't.

If you're wondering why they're not prosecuted for shooting/killing someone whom YOU thought shouldn't have been, they are subject to the same laws/court processes as you, I, or anyone else.

The problem with some people, is that they're used to growing up without any societal controls on them. No parents, no school authority, police in juvenile situations seem stymied, nothing. Then, when the kid gets into his adult years, he may luck out for a time doing what he wants, but sooner or later, the cold, cruel weight of reality comes crashing down on him/her. It is then that they realize that they can't do just anything they want anytime they want anymore. Some protest to the point of violence. It is then that a number of these get killed. Then, the person's friends(most of whom have been raised like the deceased) cry out, "You dirty cops killed my friend for NO REASON"!!

Like the old saying goes, you live by the sword, you die by the sword. Deal with it.

You know I continue to think "Why people trash talk Police officers"?, Ok everytime people are in trouble who do they call? They put their life on the line everyday for not such big of a paycheck, Not all P.O's are the same, sadly there is some P.O's who take their authority to a whole diff level but sooner or later they will get caught, As for you question.........It's not murder, self defense.

They don't. When police commit crimes, it's just scandalous enough to attract media attention. So, IF a policeman commits murder, he or she does NOT get away with it....

As for them doing their jobs...I don't work with the police in any form or fashion, but even I recognize shooting a person in the line of duty and cold-blooded murder.

ignore Rons answer he is a total braindead idiot who has clearly had one parking ticket too many..the police did what was thought to be necessary on that day, they were family men who thought it was helping to stop another 7/7. it was wrong but they were not to know that at the time. there was no time to have a case conference..take it from someone who was at 7/7 the Metropolitan Police are heros who do a job few would have the backbone to do.

Because the police get to define what "murder" is. Freedom is a myth. You are subject to the whims of state power, everywhere, forever.
