Never, never, never. It's not a question of the number of dates. You hold out until he's about to explode with lust, then just wind him up and let him go. Then when he, ahem, "makes a mess", you use his guilt to make him go out and buy you ice-cream. Trust me, they like having to work hard for it really.

Yes, and I continue to do so.
Sex is not a dirty thing, it is an amazing validation of our humanity. After all, it is our entire reason for living in that the progenerative principle is our strongest urge.
Most girls I have met (all all of the ones I have enjoyed a carnal relationship with, I hope) also enjoy the act of sex or making love. Specific pleasures have been 'Built in' at the most basic level to ensure we continue to have these urges!
There is no difference between the male and female sex-drive on this level. The compulsion is possibly even greater in ladies. The difference is only a a social level. Men who 'sleep around' are still revered as 'Studs' or 'Players' whereas a woman who does the same is castigated as a 'Harlot' or 'Fornicator'. Therefore a lot of women choose not to follow their urges in order to retain a social acceptability.
This is, however, superficial, and most objections can be easily overcome by anyone who can treat a lady the right way, i.e. validating her choice, making her aware that you do respect her and will continue to do so, and debasing the standard social model.

Yeah I used to but let me tell you! The majority of relationships will not develope to be anything MORE THAN SEX if you do this... and if they do they usually wont last long at least make him wait a couple dates so he has some kinda respect for ya!

you can do theres nothing wrong with it you just have to think about where you want the relationship to go and then think about what signals you are sending out.
