i just want your opinion? i don't hate God. i'm just being curious.

If God is perfect, then he can do and make all things including mistakes and if God made mistakes, it made him imperfect.

do u get my point? : )

What you just described is called the "omnipotent paradox". It's a theory that atheists came up with to justify their disbelief of an omnipotent being. For example, can God create a rock so heavy that even he can't lift it? If he does somehow manages to create such a rock, he is not omnipotent because he can't lift the rock, and he's supposed to be able to do anything. Likewise, if he can't make such a rock, it's pretty obvious that he's not omnipotent too.

This is one of the reasons why Christianity and other religions worshipping omnipotence are dying out - people these days are getting smarter and found ways to justify "heresy".

I'm an atheist, but my answer is from a neutral standpoint.

If you really want to hear something that will knock your socks off, is that "everybody" is born perfect. It takes a bit of work to realize your full potential though! Walk the right path, practice compassion to others and work to attain your own enlightenment. It's easy to get caught up in the trappings of everyday living. Work, entertainment, etc. The goal you strive for is attainable, but it definitely won't be handed to you. The great thing is that the closer you get, the more you cut through the illusions that hinder your life.

Yes. God is defined by his attributes of omnipotence (all power), Omniscience (all knowing), Omnipresence (everywhere), immutability (unchanging nature), and perfection (lack of sin). Sin is defined as that which is displeasing or disobedient to God. God created the first man in his image and without sin, however, in his love, he gave man the choice to obey or disobey God. God could have created a robot without the power of choice, but he didn't. Adam, the first man, from that point he, and all his descendants have a sin nature. That is why we have evil in the world, because man is now naturally evil, rather than good. God's perfection is not affected by the fall of man or the consequences of sin (imperfection) being brought into the world.

I'm not religious.

But it has been said that we, as humans, have been made in God's image. Does that sound perfect to you?

So what type of being does that make him?

The Bible says that God is perfect. That He can not lie. That He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

He is all good things.

Why do you think that there is poverty, disability, and so much of unfairness in the world?

It's because he is not perfect - or there is no God
