I don't mean to sound pessimistic but there is no such thing as real love in this day and age ....the only reason that people get together these day is if you have something that they can use or aquire by possibly being with you .....credit,buying a home or vehicle, bank accounts,travel to foreign countries, status...celebrity or otherwise....or just plain and simple your money in their hands .....It is very sad that people don't get together because you are just a good person...but that it always has to be about something materialistic.....you wanna know whats even worse ....it is that some people actually think that they are with their significant other because that peson loves them ....but let something go wrong and they will see where they truly stand with that particular individual ....I know alot of people are going to read what I say and disagree and thats fine .Understand this though no one comes right out and says ...Honey, I'm gonna be with you not because I actually love the beautiful spirit that you possess as a human being...but because you got extra fatt pockets....who is that darn honest ....come on. No...Who ever it is is going to make you feel like what you have is real true and pure love...that is until you have to file bankruptsy...or lose your job....have the IRS after you....or become terminally ill....if none of those things take place then you will continue to live out a fake life.....good luck to all and GOD bless cause we all need it in this world.!

I have a few friends that found the love of their lives over the Internet, honestly, a few years ago I was saying the same thing..."love on the Internet, give me a break!!" but, now that I have seen so many people finding love here, I am changing my mind. But I think it is that is also a place where you can find lots of trouble. So I would say, if you are looking for love on Internet, look for those single matching website (like the ones on TV commercials).

It is very possible to find love on the internet.How long it lasts no one knows.Sometimes when you meet someone on the internet and u start talking you have so much in common and you feel as if you have known them your whole life.But sometimes people on the internet arent what they seem they turn out to be psychos.My husbands sister met a guy on the internet they ended up getting married and it only lasted a year because he was a drug addicted abusive psycho.So you have to be VERY careful you could very well be chatting with a serial killer or rapist

I dont think so, this is out of personal experience. I have found that the people that are looking for love on the internet spend too much time in front of their computer, and not enough time getting out there and doing the things I love to do. They always seem to be hiding something, or after one thing.

Love is everywhere. The internet is just another place to look for it. True love I do not think can be found on a computer, because anyone can say anything you want to hear. Guys pretend to be girls and girls pretend to be guys just to fool some lonely person.
In order to find true love, you need to meet face to face and get to know each other.

If you can find love at the mall, school, bar/club or just walking down the street, why not the internet? Just like anywhere else you won't love that person until you get to know them. what you initially find is attraction, which may or may not lead to love.

I agree with you. I don't think you can find love on the internet because it's like weird and it's impossible to know if their telling the truth. So i'd rather stick to finding love in person.

When a person fall in love with some one and cant meet as his or her wish then she/he become mentally upset and to overcome this they used to interact in any interaction wchich cant effect in their love .But on the contrary find as if they are with their love partner.Though it is very painful but this is fact.They are introvert and cant exchange their sorrows with any.Their love partner should think about the pathetic condition of his/her significant other,who is suffering from this pain.I am sure she/he surely have talked about this to the partner.may be the time will come when she/he will be mad.Respect and pay values to her/his love--otherwise oneday will come when everybody will blame the lover--for whom this happened.
