a friend of mine said eating meat gives him bad karma because its a dead animal and animals have souls and spirits. for those that beleive in reincarnation they could be eating a past life best friend or relative.

The Old Testiment of the Bible declare's it to be a sin, but Jesus abolished it in the New Testiment. It depends on the specific demonination that you follow, some consider it a sin still others don't.

It's not. A bunch of religious radicals made it a sin.

Eating meat is necessary for getting protein in your body.. now eating a lot of meat.. that's just really nasty.. i'm surprised you didn't get e.coli or the bird flu yet.

As a Bible believer, meat in itself is not sinful. But killing for fun is sin.
