Window a/c unit emits funny (almost fishy) smell. Any ideas on how to resolve?

check the filter. if it is dirty - clean it (warm soapy water) if it is replaceable, replace it.

Well, all the window A/C unit is doing is sucking in air from inside, and blowing it back. There must be something inside it that making it smelly.

You can take the unit apart, and wash the whole thing with a hose. Don't spray the controls directly. Allow the unit to dry completely before you re-assemble, and plug back it. Typically 24 hours.
