God can't make anyone convert, that would mean that He is taking away free choice, and if He could make people convert, then why not make everyone believe in Him. Don't listen to those people. Christians can tell people about God, (some do force Him on people, but many are just perceived that way because they are passionate about what they believe and the feel that they need to save as many people as they can), but only the individual can decide to become Christian or not. In fact, all choices that are made in life are made by the individual. No one can force anyone to do anything, there is always a choice.

Some people are fanatics about their religion. There are many people or... "Christians" as you like to address... that feel like our time here on earth is running out. They feel that it is their job to help save others souls and that they don't have much time to do it. What is anybody's reaction to something when they are put on a short time limit??? They get pushy, hurried, short... That doesn't mean that they think they are God. That doesn't mean that they are trying to take God's place. It simply means that they are trying to desperately reach the person that they are trying to save before time runs out...

Plus technically, nobody can "FORCE" you to be anything that you don't want to be....

Also, just going through the motions "daily" does not make you a devout Christian... or Christlike. It makes you religious. Which.. sorry to say... is all that you wasted those 25 years of your life on. Being religious.

P.S. Don't be upset because the answers to your questions aren't lame curses on you or your life... or hopes and wishes against your well being... (as yours are on mine)
Instead, be upset because I continually prove you, your methods, your so called logic, and your "Christian bashing" tactics wrong....

Next time don't go snooping through my personal questions if you really don't care. I might take it as some form of obsession you have with me. ; )

I can see how people here try to have everyone in their favor, wasn't that the same thing that Satan did in heaven before he became to be Satan? Yea! He lied to many others angels, trying to steal God's throne and seat in the high place of God.

Yea, you are dragging many with you to agreement.

But that's OK, Jesus said clear that this will happened to Christians when it come to preaching His word, because in Matt.24:35; says that "The Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart"

Oh I really know how it feels when you hear the truth of God.

And what alleged "forcing" do we do?

If Christians are so adept at "forcing", why are Christian-majority countries almost universally countries where religious plurality is officially sanctioned in law?

If we're so much about "forcing", why does it take a nine month catechism class to become an adult Catholic convert?

The fact is, we likely leave this in God's hands much more than you may suspect.

I can't speak for all Christians, but only for myself. When I say I don't want to force someone to convert, and only God can, what I mean is, through the Holy Spirit God can (and does) touch peoples hearts and minds and lead them through a conversion process. As God knows the hearts and minds of everyone, only He knows who is ready/prepared to accept the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am not trying to insinuate that I am God or a god, only that I am trying to be like Him and also that I want my friends and family to have the peace and experience the joy I have when I try to share my beliefs with them.

People who preach and/or proselytize are playing God.

If the bible is even mostly true, they will all be in hell together. Playing God is a grave sin according to the bible.

But, it is a book of mythology.

People can only point out the way.
It is up to the person to call on Jesus for salvation and for Jesus to grant it.
