would like to know more about waterhen with pics?

it is a land bird and usually breeds near small ponds etc. lays eggs that are edible. believe it is mostly found in kerala south india regions but wonder if the species are on the verge of extinction still would like to know more with a picture would be find

Be more specific. Do you mean a waterfowl hen? Go to webshots.com. Seach for ducks, geese, etc. and you will find hundreds of pictures. I also have a couple pictures on webshots and my name is justme515.
