I think it would be a wonderful thing, especially if it could be done with honesty and sincerity.
I would like it to happen with brotherly love

It depends on why they ask for joining of hands. I'm familiar with joining hands in prayer. But if someone wanted me to just hold someones hand for no reason I might just walk away because I'm NOT someone who likes to be touched.

I don't just hold hands with strangers. I used to go to this church and they would try to get us to all "join hands"...I would always have to go to the bathroom when the preacher said that! Maybe I am just not one of those touchy feelie kind of people. Yet, I have my own reasons for not wanting to hold someones sweaty hand!

May be she's trying to promote peace, love among each other.

Well it could be anything else too - but why not see the positive side of it?

if its a woman she would definetly be a kindergarten teacher teaching to play ring-o-ring-o-roses and if it is a man he would be a football coach
