not sure if you are talking about love or lust here. Lust is a short term hormonal state usually lasts about 6 months, longer if the relationship is illicit. In that case he would look at her a lot, eye contact when possible, touch (obviously!!) when allowed, and feel an overwhelming and rather woozy feeling of needing to be near her all the time. He would hate to see her upset and be after her approval all the time. Lots of chemical similarities to certain popular drugs!
Love is completely different, its a long term thing, more like a very cozy friendship, where you want the other person to be happy, you want to be happy, you find the middle ground and you can see the faults in the other person (as they see yours) but you live with them. Its mature and if you are still on the "prove your love" stage, you aint there yet. Sounds boring and I hate to be a kill joy but its true.
Read the love languages books, they are very enlightening.
This comes from a 22 year old married pregnant mother of one. I know whereov I speak. ;-)

Everything has got to go by stages...Before you ask the guy for proof let him first show you that he is interested. INTEREST then changes to INITIAL LOVE, IE. a gigantic NEED to be near that person every minute of the day.. and to reach that stage can take anything from a week to a month. Even then he may be battling with the idea himself before he makes a first move. The more he likes/loves you the more careful he is going to be (NOBODY likes to be hurt).--- Everything has got to go by stages... For me the key is initially OBSERVE, OBSERVE AND OBSERVE AGAIN and LISTEN get to know each other.... if you guys like what you see and hear then go for it. Then the world closes behind you two and you exclude everyone else... just the two of you... But look who is talking... me, who is on my third marriage... experience, I suppose !!! Love is magic !!!!

A guy will do almost anything to make sure that his woman is satisfied. This will allow you to know that a guy is in love with a woman.

First, I would like to give you my unbiased opinion. Love is measured by multitudes of phrases,poems,actions,reasons,and has been the topic of lovers for hundreds of years!
In order for one to "define" true love they must first experience it! And that is certainly rare among today's society, ( look at the divorce rate)
It seems you are looking for a act that sets your man apart from all the rest that labels him as a "true lover". Look no further...it is not there!
Having the faith in your man as possessing true love for you is all that is required.
Wanting confirmation from "symptoms" "actions" and "deeds" makes one wonder just where you stand as well!
definition of true love; Is what one is willing to give up for it!

well there are no symptons but if hr really love the lady he will always stay with that lady and never cheat that is how we show we love someone.

hello im south africa. first remeber that the guy has to have some kink of indication that the "lady" is intrested in him before he goes jumping in lakes to prove any thing to her. i think you can tell in the way the guy comunicates to wards the lady. but you can always try asking him strainght out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! good luck
