the airline website will have a link somewhere on the page for you to check the on-time status of today's flights. for instance, the northwest airlines site http://www.nwa.com/ allows you to check the status of flights by origin and destination city or by flight number. quite a useful tool, i imagine it cuts down on a lot of needless worry and/or phone calls.

search for the airport website, usually they have stuff like that on there.
better still, go to the airport.
