Well there are creatures on this planet who don't worship God so why should they? Even us humans who have almost identical genetic make-up can't agree on the same God.

In my religion, humans were created to be the guardians of this planet (great job doing it too!). And we were given this role due to our advantage over other animals; our brains.

But that doesn't dispute that God might have chosen another 'human' species to watch over some other habitable planet. I mean considering how huge the universe is, and if it is after all a game of probability, why shouldn't there be extraterstrials?

Well, what makes you sure its not fallen apart already. Whether we are alone or not alone in the universe may not have anything to do with religion after all. We humans are treating everyone else like aliens anyway!

Christians more than others have always know we were not alone in the universe. God was not on this planet when he created the universe and all the other suns and planets.
The bible says he knows them all by name
So there is him his son and millions of other spirit creatures who live out there somewhere.
When Satan was asked where he had been he said walking around in the earth. Indicating that he wasn't on the earth at that time.

For the true believers, no event in the existing universe would make them doubt their belief since these people are wholly irrational in the first place and hence not influenced by reality

Actually, my religion would not. We already know there are many other worlds and beings out there. I mean, isn't it arrogant to think that only we exist in such a vast universe?

Don't forget that this already happened at least once in the past, when America was "discovered". I predict a whole fleet of missionaries to the heathen aliens.

I don't see how it would, not for me anyways. If there's other life in the universe I'll just assume that the Creator chose to create other beings.

To a greater extent - but there still will be people who would find some loophole to work around it. Hopefully it will be more advanced beings that would enlighten the humans.
