I'm staying at the Barclay off of Park Ave on 48th. I want to know if there are any places in Midtown East that my girlfriends and I can go to that aren't going to charge us $10 for a beer or cosmo! Help!

You're in Midtown, there is no such thing as anything under $10. But if you don't mind the subway or cab ride, head down to the West Village, there are a lot places down there where you can enjoy a cheap drink.

There's not really a lot of nice places where to get that. You can try China Club or go to Union Square and Washington Park and walk in East direction. You will find a lot of bares with reasonable prices.

mmmmmm. well. i think happy hour at bliss should work. not sure what kind of ambiance youre looking for but its on 2 av and i think 49th.
