That's pretty funny. Recorded human history goes back further than 6000+ years. That would be some psycho religous propaganda you read, some out-there neo-christians really believe that junk.

I think you have to add billions of years onto that. Created in 4004 BC? I heard something like that too. But come on! Humans were around before then! I don't know of any justifiable scientific evidence that suggests this is the date. I do, however, know an overwhelming amount of evidence that says the universe started long ago. Humans started building civilizations and farming in 8000BC.

Sounds about right to me. A lot of people say that the earth must be 4 billion years old because of fossils and rock layers and blah, blah, blah! Truth is that if conditions are right, nothing on earth has to be more than 10,000 years old. I have seen pictures with human footprints next to dinosaur footprints. I have a photo of a human footprint with a crushed trilobite in it's heel. Trilobites are thought to have been extinct for 65 million years. A loooong time before humans are said to have evolved. If you look for it there is far more evidence of a young earth than an old one. If you ask me it takes more faith to believe in happy accidents than it does to believe in God the creator. I would highly recommend a book called In the Beginning, by Dr Walt Brown. It is very enlightening!

The answer to your question is false.
To think that the earth and universe is so young is totally implausible. The evidence is there for all to see in any natural history or geological museum.
I think it all comes down to common sense. As for man walking with dinosaurs, I ask ya!!!!

I really wish Yahoo made questions go through some kind of idiocy filter before hitting the airwaves.

Absolutely not. The world is far, far, far older than 6010 years. Go to a natural history museum.

You'd be shocked at the evidence that supports that!
Of course, the scientific community ignores that evidence because it "chaps their hide"
