I am dating a guy and I really like him... and from what he himself, and what others say he likes me just as much... how do I keep him now that I have him.... I don't know what keeps men around.

as a man i'd recommend that you try to see him as much as possible and be close to him, when you are together. I myself love when a girl is close to me. :)

If someone truly loves you then they will want to stay. Dating is the beginning of the relationship when you are learning about one another. You need to be open and honest with him about who you are and how you feel about him.
If he feel the same you bond will become stronger.

Unless he is a fish, you shouldn't be trying to "hook" him. Be happy with the moment. Don't pressure yourself or him. If things are meant to be, they will be.
