Swimming, walking/running, biking, inline skating, playing a sport are all great outdoor activities. You can also exercise indoors, if it is too hot. You can dancing, do aerobics, pilates, yoga, kickboxing, jumping jacks, pushups, crunches, lunges, squats, etc. Anything that gets you moving.
Also, summer is a great time for fresh fruits and vegetables and cooking on the grill. Enjoy all the veggies and fruits that you want! Grilled chicken and fish are also really good.

For losing weight, walking is best, especially during the summer. Find a park that has a good drinking fountain and walk around there. Drink water very often. If you find yourself getting lightheaded or headaches you didn't drink water enough. I'd recommend waiting until about an hour after dinner so it isn't too hot then walk for a couple of hours.

If you live in an area with lots of heat and humidity then I suggest that you stay home and do excersises . they have lots of videos out there not only on DVD but VHS as well. and they are not as expensive as they once were. The ones that I do are Walk away the pounds by Leslie Sansome ( check out her website)
lesliesansome.com.
There is also the Richard Simmons light aerobic dancing videos, his website
richardsimmons.com
I hope this helps you out my friend. I do these videos/dvd's now and I have lost a considerable amount of weight ( 60 pounds) so give it a try if you want, plus this will not only save you a considerable amount of money you can do it at your own time.

Yes its very hot outside! If you are going to go jogging, I suggest you wake up at the craack of dawn. If you don't like jogging pace walk for about 1 hr best to get results. You cand do alot of sprints 2. You can buy exercise tapes and stretch, pilates, yoga and kickboxing. Dance infront of the mirror! Go to nike.com and you can learn some of the dances they teach there. Also, don't eat so many proccessed foods! Replace them with whole foods and you will SEE result. <3

Hi my friend!
well, it`s summer and even here in Norway we are getting the water warm enough for a swim, and there you go really in my book anyway. I am a dinosaur ha ha ha, and when you are to I don`t wanna say it but fat as I am, or am I? well to swim is a great way to use all your body without the strain you might be getting out of the water. Using the bike also uses many of your muscles and is also recommendable! good luck from one who knows to much, ha ha ha, peace and love

If you don't want to go outside, try going on the treadmill or going to some Yoga/Pilates classes. Or use a cross trainer at your local gym.
Basically, you want to do cardio exercise to lose weight / maintain your figure.

Walking and swimming are two great natural exercises.
They increase your metabolic rate and help the weight loss.
Add a gym session a few times a weeek and you might do better.
Above all - have fun.
