I guess it depends on what kind of cat it is. If your cat is like a lion or a tiger, then I can see why you would be offended by the fart that came out of something so big, but I wouldn't return the favor.
I doubt you can out-fart a lion.

We easily grossed out folks are litterally offended if an old dog farts. We think it's so crass so inappropriate and so gross so go right ahead

Why would you get offended? I mean it's just a cat you act like someone spitted in your face. Now if someone did THAT i would DEFINITELY be offended, but if your cat farts in front of you....then...i mean...why are you offended? Well you shouldn't fart back cause that's gross, if you wanna show dominance then just hit your cat if he does it again.

Do you still have the sunday paper?
If so, introduce his *** to it, that'll show that cat!
It worked for me, everytime I read the paper he runs away for no reason.....
