First of all, God is Holy and can Not excuse sin period.
When Jesus died on the cross FOR our sins, He made a way for us to ask for forgiveness
openly, in Jesus's name.
When your friends say that your sins are "TAKEN" away from you, I think they mean your sins are forgiven. Jesus already paid the price and imputed our sins on to His account. All we have to do is make the decision to serve Him.
No, it's not OK to live in sin. When you follow Christ, you change from your old ways. You no longer want to do bad things. Jesus was kind to people and gave to them and respected other people. And if we are suppose to be like Christ, we don't do those bad things anymore.
But ... if you make a mistake and since we still have the NATURE of sin, you can ask Jesus to forgive you even if you did something really bad. Yes, He will forgive someone for rape. But the bible also says that there will still be consequences for our actions. If someone chooses to hurt someone else, and they say they are sorry, they will be forgiven but they will still have to go to jail.
Even if you choose to be a christian, you will still not be perfect but you will try to follow Jesus and follow His example.

If we repent of our sin, we will be forgiven. The Bible says that God will remember our sins no more. But, we also need to forgive people of sin, too. A murderer can be forgiven if he repents and has Jesus as his Lord. But this doesn't mean that he doesn't have consequences to pay here on earth and he will lose some rewards in heaven.
In the old testament, blood sacrifices were used to cover sin. Jesus went to the cross and shed his blood to make atonement. In other words He took my place (and yours if you believe and are saved) and died. We deserved the death, but he was our substitute, so we don't have to die (a spiritual death... or spend eternity in Hell).

You have a very wrong understanding of sins being taken away.
If you read the bible, the first thing that Jesus spoke is REPENT. If there is no repentance, there is no forgiveness for sin.
God will not be unfair (WHY SHOULD HE?) and made a fool of (HE CREATED THE WHOLE WORLD - WHAT GREAT INTELLIGENCE). So all your assumptions about how God will behave, is misguided.
Anyone who thinks that he can accept Jesus and get to heaven and continue sinning is very very very sadly mistaken.

To repent means to turn from your sins and sin no more if you truly have Gods love in your heart you will not do those things.
Why are people always trying to give Christians a bad name is it because they are Lucifer's Children and they like to mock the truth.

God gave Adam and Eve a decision (God or no longer God?). He supplies us a decision (God or no longer God?). when we settle on the latter, we've sinned (of route). The Bible says that without the laying off of blood, there is no forgiveness. nicely, animal sacrifices are inadequate to thoroughly erase the debt (and gathering activity funds) as a results of sin. that is why Christ's demise changed into needed. As if you will under no circumstances listen about God nicely, the further I listen, the further I question even if people (outdoors of nonetheless births) die without understanding of God. Many Muslims in international places closed to Christianity are coming to understanding of Christ through visions and targets.

yes Jesus takes our sins away, but first we have to
repent of our sins & believe that he is our savior
yes since he takes our sins away we can keep on
sinning if we chose to do so, but we will be accountable
for what we do
in the bible the book of Romans chapter 8 verse 5 says:
Those who live according to the sinful nature have their
minds set on what that nature desires; but those who LIVE
in accordance with the spirit have their minds set on what
the SPIRIT DESIRES.

Repentence In Islam :
ALLAH"God" is the MOST FORGIVING ...
He loves our repentence ...
He doesn't like us to be in TORTURE ...
He wants to help us and guide us to the right way , so we stop doing sins , and if we do it , we must ask him for forgiving and repentence ...
HE ALWAYS WAITS FOR OUR REPENTENCE ...
WE ARE HUMAN BEINGS , we make sins !!Not angels who do only good ...
