I doubt you could be sued - But I do not think it is such a great idea. Sure it will make you feel good for a little while then you will feel regret and wish you would have never sent it.
You must ask yourself if your actions will do any good. If by doing this are you really solving anything. The best way to make someone feel bad is to move on and leave them in the dust.
Keep in mind that the saying every dog has his day and what goes around comes around are true one day someone will hurt him in much the same fashion and this will make him think about all those he hurt and when he see's your over him this will make him feel worse.
Don't hang on to the hurt let it go and put this behind you.

The truth is most anyone can be sued for most anything. So, the answer to your question is, Yes, you CAN be sued. The truth also is that unless your letter so angers your ex or he's inclined to spend a fair amount of money to harass you, you will not be sued. That's especially true if he's in another county as it makes it more expensive to bring suit. So, practically speaking, those who say that unless you threaten him, you're immune from suit are generally correct. There are people out there however, who have enough money and bad feelings, to bring suit just to make you miserable.
You're probably safe if you do as you want to do. Whether it will shape him up is very doubtful.

Anyone, can sue anyone, at any time, for anything. That doesn't mean they will win, or even have a legit case. This is one of the reasons lawyers and insurance companies make money. And thus do everything to maintain the status quo. Welcome to America. With all her faults she is still the best! Your real question is, can I face negitive reprocussions for my actions? My answer is,...possibly. But not just from sources such as another country, or even ours, but, in life. And any gratification you may feel by venting is probably better achieved on this type of forum. After all, the wound is fresh, you sound very young, and you never know, if, or when. you might want to renew this friendship. Never say never. Good luck.

Instead of writing that letter, use the time to go out and find some cute guy to **** senseless all night long!

BTW, zoeksalamander, what is wrong with Albania? Have you been there to judge? It is a strange place, but putting people in jail for writing letters is not one of the things they do...

If you threaten him in any way in the letter and he can prove that you can carry it out then he may be able to put a restraining order on you. But sue you? Sue you for what? It can't be libel or character assassination. They will just call your letter the rantings of an angry ex-girlfriend. Personally, I say just blog about it. That is a bigger revenge 'cause then more people know about it, hehehe.

i'd reduce her out of your existence instantly. the reality you stated you've been in college potential you're youthful. you position your all into the relationship, yet i imagine you position too a lot in. there is no longer some thing incorrect with loving and being concerned on your female friend, yet you ought to have your own existence besides. bypass decrease back to varsity, get your existence decrease back together. under no circumstances over indulge someone as they're going to improve drained of it.

Um...yeah, it could probably be construed as harassment......I'd say write it, but don't send it.......write it and then burn it....that way you get your feelings out but no one gets hurt.......and you don't run the risk of having harassment charges filed against you......

I'm sure that is a deadly sin in Albania.

Capital punishment for you, I'm afraid.
