Hard to say.
On one hand AQ would desperately love to regain its lost prestige by conducting a successful attack on US soil.
On the other hand - the US has proven to be very skilled at detecting and interdicting potential attacks before they can even make it to US soil. Since these attacks require skilled personnel, time and resources (all of which are in short supply at AQ) attempting them is a losing proposition.
Another issue that AQ faces is that they no longer have secure bases from which to conduct these attacks from. President Bush's actions since 9/11 have convinced world leaders that any government that supports or assists AQ will be destroyed.
But the most important reason (IMO) is that the US has demonstrated that we will respond to a terrorist attack in a manner that the terrorists do not want. Spain's actions caused the attacks on Britain on 7/7 - and Britain made a grave error by not reacting against _somebody_.
Can we guarantee that AQ will not strike at us again? No.
But we have reduced the odds a _lot_.

Yes! and will continue as long as the U.S. has this lopsided relationship with Israel.
We need a government in place that treats 'all' nations the same in our foreign policy. Not because one or two are experimenting with democracy.
The real problem with the United States is that it is attempting to do what other countries tried in the past. We are trying to rule the world.
Alexander the Great, Caesar, Napoleon and Hitler attempted it but failed. Each had their different Ideology, but nonetheless failed.
America's Ideal is to Democratize the planet. How we manage to advance in this folly is by sticking our nose in other countries affairs. When we meet any form of resistance we send our troops in to quash the resistance and leave a part of our might behind(military) forever.
We see it in Europe, Japan, South Korea, Cuba, Iraq, Afghanistan and so on.
We are at present, spread too thin throughout the world. There are too many fronts to manage, and, consequently doomed.
Our attempt to rule the world is nothing but another lesson in futility.
Great empires in the past had suffered decay, declines and Falls and we are at this very moment two thirds into that trilogy.
God help us!

Maybe not, perhaps the reason why we were attacked before is for Bush to gain much power, It could not even be ascertained whether or not the "war" on Iraq would have happened if there was no "emergency" from 9/11.
Here are the following links regarding the power maps of nations

This is to prove that an attack on us increases presidential power. As long as that power on Bush is enough, maybe there won't be a need for any attacks.

Eventually, just a matter of scale & how long it can be put off. Eventually terrorism will be bred out of the mid-east/Islam, but that takes a generation or more. In the meantime we can take the hard steps to see that's done while doing our best to minimize the next attack in the US. It's much more likely we'll be struck a few times abroad, but yes someone will get us at home eventually.

Yes. The whole thing about terrorism is that they only have to succeed once in a while. Preventing terrorism means a 100% success rate is required - nearly impossible.
And, thanks to the traitors in the CIA and the NYTimes, our ability to find and track these people has been harmed.
And, thanks to those who oppose the efforts of the President, our enemies now believe that the US is weak-willed and will cut and run if the going gets too tough. This adds to their incentives to attack, so their supporters in the Dem party can pursue the cowardly path of appeasement and surrender.

I hope not. As an American , I see what America is doing and what Israel is doing in the middle east , i see it as rash and irresponsible. this will breed more hatred and antagonism against us. waging war against innocent civilians is not right. If i have a problem with one group of ppl i do not go and strike war against the weak ,,, this is so violent and the world is not on our side even if they seem to be ... there will come a time when we will just have more enemies right left and center. we have north Korea , we have Cuba , we have Hezbollah , we have hamas we have aml ... Israel is waging wars on two fronts. Israel is a nation that does not have depth, if they are to continue they will be wiped off the middle east map.... our way of life and our image is tarnished. We have TONS OF ENEMIES . we are in the middle ... we are caught in the middle , America needs to be balanced not biased this is not going to be in our best interest

Of course there will, it's just a matter of when, and if it will actually be enemy combatants next time or another inside job to consolidate power in a failing and incompetant administration.
