Safe period for having safe protected sex is any time... I presume you're about to engage in unprotected sex, in which case there is no "safe" period because you could get pregnant or worse, catch some sexually transmitted disease. You may know you're sexual habits, but do you really know your partner's habits.

Anyhow, enough preaching. If you're wondering when you'll be susceptible to getting pregnant, then try not to have unprotected sex about 13-17 days after the START of your previous period. This is usually your ovulation time and that's when your ovaries release the egg(s) that will eventually become babies if they're fertilized by the male sperm.

If you do get pregnant, don't blame me for bad timing and don't say I didn't warn you... :)~

Where do these people suck their answers from? The "safe period" is where you have sex within the time period of two weeks after her menstruation. Make sure that you don't have sex 2 weeks before her nxt menstruation as she will be ovulating and then ur guaranteed on being a parent.

There is no time in which sex is safe. Pregnancy can happen any time. It is more likely during ovulation but can always occur.

Safe sex is the only way to be sure.

Better safe than sorry.
