No!
How do you bring back an innocent person who was wrongly executed ?

If your dog pees on the carpet & 2 years later you pop him on the nose, will that deter him from peeing ont he carpet in the future? As silly as it sounds, that's exactly the issue. When executions are delayed 10-20 years there is no deterance.

In the case of captial murder - that being of a police officer, murder for hire, or in the commission of another felony (shot the clerk in a robery) - & the degree of personal control shown in the crime shows rehabilitation is not the answer, than the punishment should fit the crime. I like in Texas so there's no bringing it back. I think it costs too much per case & are drawn out too long, but I have no moral objection to it & do want it to remain available as an option for these most drastic crimes.

for it absolutely, but against doctors as the over seer,of death by lethal injection,

if someone robbed a bank, the look out guy would be given the same sentence as the guy holding the bag
so i say even though he may be over looking he is still a part of it,

How? Crime still occurs in countries & states that use it. It is not an effective deterrent.
