my hand is cracking and peeling, but I have an appointment to donate blood today, can i still donate?

very important thing is first consult doctor ...if he says u r in position to donate then sure u can go for a good work ,,,,cracking and peeling is not so big deal but ur blood can save someones life

As long as you're not ill or don't have an infection, you can donate blood. Also you can't donate blood if you had hepatitis. The peeling on your hand is probably caused by a lack of vitamins or from handling caustic substances without protection. But I guess the latter option is ruled out :)

Why is your hand cracking? If it is a symptom of you not being in good health, then it may mean you may not be able to donate. The nurse at the donation site will be able to tell you better.

I doubt that cracked hands would prevent you from donating blood.

I think they check the blood before putting it in someone. But go to the doctor in case
