Around Swanage, in Dorset, it is lovely. We stayed at a campsite just 15 minutes walk fron the town, which had the steam train puffing past every half hour. Theres the beach, and the Durdle Door, and Jurassic coast to see, if you fancy driving about.

Mind, this year we are planning on going to Devon, for a bit of variety. I'll report when we get back :)

Dorset is fantastic for both beaches and camping. Its a beautiful place and well worth visiting. I love Golden Cap campsite (only 10 min walk from the beach and the Anchor Inn under the shadow of Golden Cap).

I love Devon, and Dawlish Warren has plenty of campsites, and a really nice beach within walking distance.
