I have a relative, and boy is he arrogant he thinks he knows it all, just because he has a good education, (well we all in the family had good educations), but he is something else, if you give him your opinion on something automatically he has to be right, and no matter how you try to persuade him, he wont budge on his decision, he has a really good job and thinks he's better than anyone else...this situation gets so bad sometimes it's even to the point where if he's wrong he still refuses to back down and accept the truth....oh he's such hard work, and so conceited, have any of you out there experienced anyone like this who is a complete nightmare? let me know.

I knew once this guy back in my country. He was same age as me, though he had an appaling sense of egocentrism. Very arrogant at times, but also generous when it came to it.
The series of factors that determine a persons' personalities can be so many it fascinates me.
If you know someone like that you should try and accept what's acceptable, but if you think that the persons arrogance is too direct for you, you should let him know. Work it out with eazy, simple words. If he still tries to be right, ignore him. You don't need people to get on your nerves and ruin your day.
Take the best things out of life, work out what you're not happy with, but don't try change what you can't.

Oh my gosh..People like that completely get on my nerves. I feel you, I knew this one girl who was exactly like that. First I used to get so angry and stuff but then I found a way. whenever she starts voicing out how perfect her opinions are I start laughing. I keep on flattering her and her ego while hysterically laughing. Ofcourse I dont mean it and all of my other friends know I dont, thats why the all start laughing with me. At first she believed I meant it and then when everybody starts laughing she finally realizes we're making fun of her and then she just shuts up.
