My family raised chickens in Iowa for many years. In the winter time we would occasionally find a few eggs that had frozen. We used them without any problem and noticed little if any difference between the frozen eggs and those that had never been frozen.

So, yes, you can freeze an egg in it's shell, but there's a couple of things you need to be aware of.

One, the liquid in the egg is mostly water. Water expands when it freezes, so freezing the egg will crack the shell. The egg white will ooze out through the crack when the egg thaws.

Two, since the frozen egg has a cracked shell, and the shell is what helps keep the egg fresh, you will need to use the egg within a day or so of thawing.

That said, I would never intentionally freeze an uncooked egg in its shell. The egg will stay fresher longer in its carton in the refrigerator.

no we can't freeze a uncook egg in the shell because that is covered by natural shell.
