First of all, I wouldn't describe God as a him/her That comes from a misinterpretation of the Bible. The description of man being formed in his image leads people to believe that we look like God. Don't forget that God existed in a void before he created the universe. Man simply describes him as he or him because it is hard to come up with something that resembles the thought. I would describe God as God. Simplistic, yes. Accurate, yes. I believe his own image means love, anger, happy, sad, pensive, thoughtful, etc. Not physical image. God is God and that's it.
