Earth does'nt look like a globe but globe is a model of the earth made by scientists inorder to study the gegoraphical features of the earth.

Q) Why does the earth look like a globe ???
A) When the first supernova explosion took place somewhat 5000 billion years ago all the fragments were spread in the universe.
some of them got some exact shape & some were irregularly shaped.
In those which got a regular shape our earth is the one which is round in shape.
HENCE EARTH LOOKS LIKE A GLOBE ACCORDING TO U.

You mean a globe looks like the earth I presume. The earth is round because a sphere is the simplest possible shape.

Every liquid tend to the globe shape, look at the rain drops. The earth was first liquid and gas, then solidified. Same happenes with planets and stars.
