Have your thyroid checked. It regulates your metabolism.

You may have hyperthyroidism. If that is what it is(and it's more common the common cold. I swear.)...The doctor will just give you a prescription for some pills to take. Their tiny and usually you only need one a day.

Ahhh I am also very thin! I am a runner. I am a girl though... so I like it! My Dad though is simular to you and he doesn't have a tape worm or any of that. First of all look at your eating habbits. Do you eat 3-5 meals a day? Do you smoke? Drink Caffeine? Hmm. I think it would be in your best interest to have these products put into your diet which are healthy and you will still have energy and won't be sluggish.
banana peanut butter tall glass milk
ensure
olive oil pastas
meats
cheese
potatoes
realy fatty caloric dense foods:doughnuts hamburgers little debbie snacks nutella- try it choclate icecream and any other typical american food!

make sure you are getting enough calories through out the day also.

Have you considered that you may have to do LESS to gain weight? Observe heavy people; what do you notice about them? Are they fast-paced and high strung, or are they sedate and mellow, do things slowly, take their time, eat with joy, and stay in their seats for long periods of time? You'll agree it's the latter. If you adopt a more sedate lifestyle, the weight will come to you.

Sounds like you have a tapeworm. Go to a doctor, and tell him what's going on.
