Cut out a pair of cardboard glasses and tape put red film on them. Wear these red filter glasses (otherwise known as rose-tinted view on the world) when watching your red-less tv. What you end up with is black and white tv, and a rosey outlook on everything else.

If you know anything about electronics and have a soldering iron, resolder the joints on the tube base circuit panel, this usually fixes this type of problem. If this doesnt work then its either an expensive repair or a new tv.

The color gun is bad. Its probably best to just buy a new TV. If you have it fixed chances are something else will go bad soon after.

The tube is on its way out
Get a new tv before it goes altogether and you have to spend even more time on this site.

Oh dear, it's probably knackered then. You could turn all the colour down and use it as a black and white.
