I think he was just a man. There have been other men who claimed to have revelations from God. Most of those have been put up as a God or great prophet. But the history and archeology have proven that Jesus did exist and did what no other man could do. he was the only one, who with signs and wonders did what no one before Him and no one after Him could do.
