Traditional family curses are hampering my progress and I want somebody to help me with some powerful prayers that I can use to break that effect in my life. I have prayed a lot and nothing seem to work. I need this special help.

Remember to have faith in God believe He will do what ever you ask of Him.
The Bible says, Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” This is in Luke God has giving us all the Authority please pray in the name of Jesus Christ and fast. There is one thing that i know that God anwer all prayers, Keep on praying, God will surely answer.

First of all, who told you its a traditional curse?
If you are dead sure that it is, then you could do this.
Easy way:
Ask a spiritually gifted minister to rebuke that curse out of your life.
Hard way:
Fast and pray until you receive the power to break them all by yourself. (This has better results. I did this. In this case, not only are you freed, but additionally you recieve power to bind and to break others)

Search the word: Derek Prince in Google. He has teachings about curses/demons and at the end he takes you into a prayer. It's powerful...
Edit: Oldguy who told you tounges r demonic...he fooled you big time my friend...it's from the Holy spirit...read Apostle's acts..it's full of it

Impossible to answer without understanding your relationship with Jesus Christ. But first break all relationship with demonic or physic experiences, especially with any churches that practice "tongues". those churches are filled with demonic activity because demons have access whenever anyone releases control of themselves ot "other spirits".

ask God who can do anything to release this curse from your family forever. You can pray to Him yourself. There is only 1 God and His Son Jesus. God is so powerful it is beyond our ability to understand, but we believe through faith in Him. I will pray for this also for you.

Plead the blood of Jesus on your house, bed, car, career and everything around you. Do this regularly and you will gradually start experiencing freedom.
