Preferably United States. I am only 17 and I don't get deployed for over a year but it would be nice to have all of this on mind before hand.

West coast I heard was better then the East coast. My husband in the navy and is stationed in Hawaii. Hawaii is all good. If you like a lot of people. Lots and lots of rush hour traffic. A lot of good things there. But it get old after a while. My husband doesn't like it there. But that doesn't mean you won't. Don't go to norfok. They will send were they want you. Thats why you do really good at you a-school. You will get first dibs on were you are stationed at. So you do have a choice.

as an IS you can pretty much be stationed anywhere, including OCONUS. You will have a dream sheet to fill out with up to 4 choices, but ultimately, you go where they need you to go at the time. Graduating at the top of your C school class can usually gty first pick of all available billets. Heaviest Fleet Concentration areas are San Diego, Norfolk, Pearl Harbor and Yokosuka Japan.

Well It's generally were the fleet is if your going to sea!
That means Norfolk, San Deigo,Pearl Harbor, Mayport, Bremerton, Kings Bay, Rota Spain, Deigo Garcia, Barahin, Guam or Japan. Take your pick???????

Dude San Diego !!! Or anywhere in Cali . Dont I repeat Dont go to Virginia . Its not like totally terrible or anything . But thats where most of the navy is , and the weather there sucks balls. And If your not black , prepare to be out numbered by a lot of black people stealing your ****. And harassing you . 70% of Va is black. F$%K that !

I "WOODEN" ask for anyplace else but San Diego...but Alaska is real nice in the winter.
You do get a choice but is ultimately decided by your job/rate/MOS and where they need you. I aways got what I wanted.
But then again my job is a Combat Janitor. I love the smell of urinal cakes in the morning. It smells like...victory.

Anywhere there is a USN Ship! Seriously, do what your told and go where your told. Being in the military isn't hard if you do what your told when your told to do it.
